Ave Maria gives a full picture as a school made of quality teachers, students and families. There is a very strong P.T.A., this parent and teacher association forms a valuable link between parents and the school, and provides an opportunity to discuss matters of mutual interest.

The school is academically selective and it reigns among the best in Accra and the Country as a whole. The School wants its pupils and parents to feel proud of the school,to enjoy an environment in which they may mature intellectually and emotionally, and to discover the riches of successful participation and achievement. Furthermore, the school aims to ensure that at whatever age the leave, former pupils will take with them warm friendships and cherished memories that will last a lifetime.

The organizers for today’s function could not have chosen a better theme than ‘’ Quality Basic Education-The Role of ICT’’. I am proud and overwhelmed to announce that Ave Maria was among the very few schools that wrote the new introduced ICT examination at this year’s B.E.C.E.
